Last summer, I spent a few days
visiting a ladyfriend with a lovely
swmimming pool. Now, six months
laterm I ran into my new friend at
a local rstuarant. She has young
Parkinson's disease, and is about 46.
 Her name is Val.

   She looked so much
better- speech smooth, BIG
smile, radiant on the arm of
her friend , new hairstyle, and
most of all, NO tremors!!

I asked her , "VAl,
you look SO terrific--what is it??"

She said that her neurologist
had put her on interferons, and that has
made all the difference!

Well, that caught me totally
by surprise!

HOW do they work? Do they
kill cancer cells? Could they
kill virus - infect ed cells in the
brain and spinal cord?

Soes somebody out there understand
enough to make sense of my questions?

Or are they off the wall??
