I am aware of Ivan's beliefs that PD is somehow related to a virus,
but the science is just not there.  I looked into this several years
ago at Ivan's behest, and found nothing that was in any way
scientifically solid.

Betaseron and Avonex (they are different) have been used in multiple
sclerosis for some time.  The use of these drugs are not directed at
viruses, but at immune responses.
