To ALL that wrote on tightness in chest:
"The hunched over" in this letter got my attention. Julian is a lot like
that as he says the other positions are not comfortable for him.He does
not breathe properly and he does have anxiety disorder. Family doctor
just put him on PAXIL. Since Julian is also a diabetic, we observed
that his sugar with start of Paxil went up. Family doctor says to stay
on Paxil and we will see.(There is no indication that Paxil should
interfere with drugs that he is on for diabetes.) However, today, he got
this tightness in the chest early morning when he was actually the most
rested. It did go away after 2 hrs or so.It was first tightness of this
kind.
If you have been following our situation, we were to see the movement
specialist June 20, 2002. However, we still cannot believe it, we got
lucky and we will see this specialist TOMORROW, January 31. I will make
a summary of the symptoms and make sure that we do not forget anything.
Perhaps, Julian will get his very first PD medication tomorrow. He is so
itchy to go on holidays, yet we do not even know how all these
medications will be working for him. Wishes and desires as oppose to
limitations put lots of stress on all of us. I just thought I let you
know what we are up to. Thank you all, for your input. It is invaluable
to us.
Emily
