Was interested in the talk about "giving up" playing paino. I wrestled with this question as Christmas approached. with the quality of my playing becoming increasingly compromised by PD. I envisaged selling it to someone who had yearned for a piano & finds mine under her/his Christmas tree (or whatever holiday symbol). I set a fair price & once I had my first & final customers actually looking at what once was so personally attached to me, I found it smooth going. I happily said goodbye; I no longer look & yearn. All these passages that PD thrusts upon us are enough to leave one "breathless"! (excuse the pun) Bye.
