Dear Inkshed folk, This is just to let you know that if all goes well, McGraw Hill will be posting on their Teaching Comp website-- http://www.mhhe.com//socscience/english/tc/ --next week sometime a module I put together for them on Inkshedding. Since the module has links to the three URLs below, please don't change or remove them anytime in the next month, if at all possible! Thanks! I'm supposed to respond to questions and comments about the module during the month of March (on the linked listserv), but I'd be grateful and happy to have fellow inkshedders chiming in as much as possible (as well as offering up questions, suggestions, criticisms, etc., on the module itself, of course). Also, the moderator of the website, Chris Anson, is looking for others interested in writing modules (they pay $300 per) so you can write directly to him if you have ideas for one you'd like to do. The current module is on "Technology, Assessment, and Power: Making Teaching Visible, and the Dangers of Living in a Glass House" by Rebecca Rickly of Texas Tech University. All previous modules are also still accessible on the website, if you're interested in checking them out (it's a useful resource). At the bottom of this e-mail I've copied in all the info on signing up to be on the listserv (it's open to anyone interested in the teaching of writing). Looking forward to any comments/suggestions any of you might have time or inclination to make--I'm assuming from what McGraw Hill has told me that the module should certainly be up by the end of next week (first week in March). See many of you at CCCC, I hope-- Betsy Sargent, U of Alberta ********* Here are the URLs the module has links to: <http://www.stthomasu.ca/~hunt/dialogic/inkshed.htm> <http://www.StThomasU.ca/inkshed/nletta01/brent.htm> http://www.stthomasu.ca/inkshed/ ********************** Info on subscribing to the Teaching Comp listserv-- List-Help: <mailto:[log in to unmask]> List-Post: <mailto:[log in to unmask]> List-Subscribe: <http://mailman.eppg.com/mailman/listinfo/teaching_composition>, <mailto:[log in to unmask]> List-Id: a free online newsletter and discussion group for new composition instructors <teaching_composition.mailman.eppg.com> List-Unsubscribe: <http://mailman.eppg.com/mailman/listinfo/teaching_composition>, <mailto:[log in to unmask]> List-Archive: <http://mailman.eppg.com/pipermail/teaching_composition/> Send Teaching_Composition mailing list submissions to [log in to unmask] To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://mailman.eppg.com/mailman/listinfo/teaching_composition or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to [log in to unmask] You can reach the person managing the list at [log in to unmask] When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of Teaching_Composition digest..."
