Jim and Connie, I have had PD for only 5 years. I was DX in 1997 I am 54 married for 32 years have three great children and now am a grandparent. Our new grandson is only 2 months old and I take care of him three days a week. I am on Requip .5 three times a day and Sinemet 25/100 two times a day. I do yoga once a week and like to run. I had been running 20 to 25 miles a week but must say am not up to that much now. I am stiffer and feel the PD taking another peace of me. I fight it with all I have, I do not let it get me down. I feel like my legs want to give out under me at times. I also take herbs and have massages also. I also wear a big smile all the time. I live in the Bay Area on 20 acres and love it. I garden and cann my veggies that I get. I have chicken so we have the best eggs in the world. I also go to church and love it for God gives me the strength to go through all of this.
