Linda, Got the message in regard to the Senate hearings being conducted today addressing therapeutic cloning (SCNT.) You gave the name of Senator Charles Schumer (New York) as one to call to urge to attend the hearing & express his support for therapeutic cloning. I live in Illinois & have written letters to & called my representatives to ask for their support in funding stem cell research but do not know if any of the three will be attending this hearing today. By the way, all three are against embryonic stem cell research but they are open to the use of adult stem cells. Could you tell me if a phone call to their offices today would be of any use as far as this hearing goes today? I would appreciate your information as I am willing to contact whomever will be influential in today's hearing. Wouldn't it be great if the phone-lines were flooded today with calls urging support for this research! If everyone in this forum would take the time to call (these opportunities do not come around everyday) and have their friends & families call I think we can get our message out, Loud & Clear.
