Edith, you have a very good question here.  I live alone...and important
point here for me....so several years ago I purchased a Medic Alert bracelet
for two reasons, 1) PD and drug interactions, and 2) proof of a sort that I
have PD.  I have had to "argue" with Medic Alert about what I want my Medic
Alert record to say in the event that someone would call them, but I won the
argument....or we compromised.  Apparently they have some kind of guideline
about what can be said and how it is to be said.  So, I am now happy with
what will be read to a caller.  Yes, there are other companies out there,
and most large drug store chains also have services.  Medic Alert actually
allows you to modify your record personally online, but you have to watch it
when they change the verbage....hence, the compromise.
