Rick,

Gosh, I can completely understand how you feel. I went through what you are
going through just last year. First I gave up my corporate management
position with a large southeastern grocery chain and went to a supervisory
level position. I thought that by reducing my work load, level of stress,
intensity of work, etc., that I could continue to work. But alas, even at
that level my concentration, multi-tasking skill, etc. were just as
bad....plus I was falling asleep at my desk. So, I completely stopped
working at the end of October. My story is long, but suffice it to say that
anyone who knows me and traveled through those months with me will tell you
that I truly grieved. I grieved for the work I loved, and for the fact that
I had worked by rear end off to get to that management position. It was a
most painful year. I am ONLY 53 yrs old.

Chin up....never give up and never give in,
Carolyn Stephenson
