Why in the world does your family still invite this man to family events? Do they all know what happened to you? I think that when Dear Abby tells a bride or groom to invite everyone to a wedding and if someone doesn't wish to attend, it is their "choice," she isn't thinking of a situation in which an adult family member intentionally injured a child. What he did is against the law and if they wish to sacrifice your feelings in favor of his, THEY have the problem. Forget the revenge. They won't understand what they are doing, anyway.
