I am 61 and was diagnosed at the age of 37.
I have had a pallidotomy (2 years ago) and had
wonderful results initially but this lasted for only
six months--what a disappointment.
My doctor said that I might not be a good candidate for this type of surgery
so I guess I
I need to discuss this further on my nex visit. The
quality of life is so important to me and I am sure
every parkinsonian feels the same way.
