Debra, I too have a similar sleep pattern. I readily fall asleep for 45
minutes to 90 minutes. I then take 2 -100mg Trazadone tablets and will
sleep another 1 to 2 hours. Every other night I then take an Abein tablet
and will sleep between 1 to 2 more hours. If I'm lucky on these nights I
sleep between 4 to 5 hours . The Trazadone takes about 30 minutes to take
effect so I find it a good time to check my E-mail or the internet. I find
it difficult to read because I keep nodding off momentarily but get little
decent sleep. Anyway the coffee tastes good at 3 am.
My wife is an early riser and the coffee is ready but not always fresh.
Hope you sleep better, but if not you are in good company.
Ed

Subject: I'm becoming nocturnal!

Is this a crazy disease or what? I take meds all day that make me sleepy.
I often feel like a Pepsi that someone shook up and popped the top on. I
have no trouble getting to sleep but staying asleep is another story.
Sometimes I lay awake and fight to get back to sleep, sometimes I just get
up. A Quiet Time takes on a whole new meaning at 2am!! Eventually sleep
comes again and then the sun comes up, I'm tired from not sleeping, and then
I take my meds that make me more sleepy and the cycle starts again. If I
could find a nearby mall that was open all night that would be great. But
then there's that driving issue! Oh Well.... Sound familiar anyone?
Debra
