Hi, Jim. I also bought a "noise-making" machine. Mine is a NSA which is supposed to also help purify the air. The truth is, I'm scared to death of the dark and I have night lights in every room. The noise maker helps to diffuse the outside so I sleep well every night. For anyone else "out there", you might try it.
