I'm in Clermont which is about 20 miles west of Orlando and possibly 50 from Tampa. Clermont is an area unlike the rest of the state - all lakes and hills. Where are you coming from? I've lived here 14 years comiing from Michigan. No more ice, snow and freezing temperatures for us. I have two daughters in Florida and six grandchildren. I love it here especially from October through May. Summers are HOT but better than cold.
