Debra and group,
Here goes my poem

You said I go to sleep[ right after dinner.
I watch the fight but don't know who'se the winner
I miss a lot of things you; say,
but come into my world and hey,
yo;u would be surprised ho;w wide my eyes can be

It is 2 am, I rub my eyes
and shake my head, , it's no surprise.
The night and I have oft become
familiar friends like sticks and drums.

My ears hear sounds the daytime hides,
the start ;of the heater like the splash o;f the tides,
The crackiling sound as warm aira flows, the swish
of the covers as I wiggle my toes.

My poems come dancing through m;y head,
I've just to catch one,, and instead
of waiting for the morning sun to rise,
they land on paper and to my surprise,
my; world gives me the creation of my prize

Thanks for listening-Betty; Jo
