Last year at this time my husband, Burdette Anderson, and I were on our way to California for his second pallidotomy. That was as much a success as could be. I'm dropping back to the List for a related problem. Something new to us is the depression associated with Parkinsons. Since mid last summer. Burdette (PWP) is struggling - the fatigue is horrific, sleeping 3/4 of the day away. (I'm more worried about bone and muscle loss etc.) We've just started round two of antidpressants. First Celexa - worked great for 2-3 weeks then was ineffective. Now Venlafaxine which doesn't seem to be doing the job either - added Ritalin last week, pfffft. So I'm here to read about others trials and tribulations with Parkinson's related Depression. We've ruled out all other causes (except scrambled brains).
