Dear Friends,
For those of you who may be interested, the study on Coenzyme Q10 has
been completed and the results are being compiled. The following is from
Dr. Lieberman's "Ask Dr. Lieberman" e-mail forum. Best, Kathrynne
================================================
please read the following
http://www.parkinson.org/coenzyme.htm
  the study described above will be reported shortly it will say that
doses of q10 up
to 1200 mg a day (a cost of about $400 a month) may
slow the progression of pd until i actually see the study i am
reluctant to
recommend this dose of q10 how q10 may help in pd is at present not
known  in each
cell of the body there are fuel cells, energy sources, called
mitochondria  a defect
in these mitochondria may be important in pd
  the defect involves a substance which is replenished by q10
