Hi and thank you to all the members who have been busily looking for a new home for PIEN. It is amazing what you folks can do! At this point, we are in 'wait and see' mode. Judy Norris (who is a co-owner and the woman who convinced me to start this list) is negotiating/discussing etc. with the University of Toronto to find out if/when/how/where the move will take place. To all of the members who have found/offered a new home: please see if you can keep the offer open until we know more exactly what is required. The generosity of many institutions is very inspiring and appreciated! The University of Toronto is not withdrawing its services for anything we have done. Judy was a faculty member there which entitled her to this service; since she is now with another university, this is no longer the case. You will be notified in plenty of time when/if we move and we'll make it as painless as possible. Those members who have emailed me privately, I will reply as soon as I can. Be kind to each other.
