Yes, no question about it--My sister (young onset PD) is now 40 and diagnosed
at 28. In her case, there is a significant difference in symptom severity
which  coincides with her monthly cycle. To aid with this, she is currently
on estrogen (birth control pill) EVERY DAY--with no placebo. Interestingly,
becuase she also presents with significant PD drug induced psychiatric
symptoms, this steady input of estrogen into her system also really helps
keeping this aspect much more controlled. So-- the estrogen therapy is making
a difference for her in both physcial AND psychiatric ways.
