Dear Diana, Hi. My name is Jill, and I am 46 and was diagnosed two months ago. I am reading "When Parkinson's Strikes Early" and have found it to be very informative. The only symptom I have is a resting tremor to my left arm which started last November. My Neurologist currently has me on 100mg of Mysoline. I also have Seizure Activity due to brain injury from a fall off a ladder on New Years Day. The fall was not from Parkinson's but my own stupidity for being on a ladder without assistance. I still like to think I am 19 at times. I found relief from tremors on only using 25mg once a day and they have increased it to 100mg and now I have no more tremors. I am the mother of one child, a 15 year teenage son. My mother's father had Parkinson's as well as my father's sister. We also lost a very good friend of the family to Parkinson's Disease. Looking forward to being on the listserv list and hearing from everyone. Sincerely, Jill ----- Original Message ----- From: "Diana Sellin" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Sunday, March 31, 2002 12:52 PM Subject: Hello...I'm new here > Greetings fellow PDers: > I'm Diana, and I am 48, and was diagnosed about 3 + years ago.
