Dear All:
On this subject I came across the discussion on TV as I would summarize
the topic:" Why we are not free from suffering, if there is God". It was
said that God certainly has the power to eliminate all the suffering,
dying, hatred etc. However, if this would be done, by the power of God,
we would not be PEOPLE. I understand that this would make us infallible,
supernatural, like midgets. Many believe that God loves us and through
the death of his only son, we have opportunity for salvation. This is
definitely a controversial topic as we are all being challenged, for
instance to cope with Parkinson and other diseases and to see other
people dying from starvation, etc. To be on this list, our suffering is
lessened.
Respectfully,
Emily, PD caregiver
