Rees, I suppose i should have been clearer - i think i am better off without BC/BS and on Medicare. All my docs - so far - accept it, including my main MDS, Dr, Fahn in NYC, it's cheaper, and i get drugs from the Veterans Admin. You get substitutes for some of the more important drugs, no more Ambien, Oxycontin and Deetrol, but still not too bad. I will write to the Commissioner of the NJ State Dept. of Insurance about BC/BS kicking me out - if they told me i had to go on Medicare, they have told other people as well.
