HI, Jo Ann, religious and spiritual matters are my most favorite subjects. I
had a friend I met at church who died of melanoma over a year and a half ago.
We always talked about religion when we went out to eat. She had just met
"Mr. Right" after two divorces and truly believed she was going to beat it.
Our church was the Church of Religious Science and if you really believe the
tenets of Science of Mind, you believe you can be cured, and she did. I beat
ovarian cancer without faith. My best friend from college is a Christian
Scientist, but I never knew it til recently. I think she is somewhat
"lapsed" as she is taking HRT. Anyway, I don't think all the answers are in
to my satisfaction. However, I do believe faith works, you just have to
believe whatever it is you believe. I think there should be another lists
for this like Camilla F has for current political affairs. Religion is a
very big topic, just turn on your TV. I would add that PD has changed my
religious beliefs. See ya, Rayilyn
