Subject: Eye Problems

Eyes feeling "weird" is not a very specific complaint! The most common
problems you could be describing associated with PD are dry eyes, which can
be treated with non-preserved artificial tears; essential blepharospasm,
which is treated with BOTOX; convergence and divergence insufficiency, which
might blur or double your vision, and can be managed with prisms. Some
people with PD are more comfortable with 2 pair of glasses rather than
bifocals. It is distinctly unusual to lose vision from PD, but it is
important to have your eyes checked by an ophthalmologist since having PD
does not make you immune to other unrelated eye problems.
I'd be glad to comment on more specific complaints.
