Hi Ervin & Group - Thanks for asking; it's nice to know that you care. In fact I am doing quite well. And don't forget, I've been a PWP for 22 years. While I am no where near being cured there is no doubt that the symptoms are markedly reduced. For example, dyskinesia is much less of a problem - in terms of severity and duration - than before the procedure. Remember folks, PD is a progressive disease. Before the implants (5 1/2 years ago) I was in End-Stage PD. And it was easy to read the handwriting on the wall. Now I don't even use a cane; much less a walker and wheelchair.
