Greg, I do not "thump the Bible", nor "scream pro-life". But I do oppose abortion on demand except in cases where it is necessary to save the life of the mother. I also support the death penalty in certain (limited) cases. The difference (between the death penalty and abortion) is that the criminal who is executed has been judged guilty by a jury of his/her peers, and as been given due process in the legal system. The baby who is killed in the abortion has had none of this. We may have some differences as to whether a fetus is a human being or not; but this is not the place for that argument.
