Janice,
Is an apple seed an apple tree? No, but it has the potential to be one under the right conditions. Where does one draw the line? As mentioned before: is the ovum of a woman, shed in menstruation a baby? No, but it had the potential to be under the right conditions. Does man commit murder if only one sperm is used? Certainly the trillions of little guys milling about would like to have a chance at life too. Are we splitting hairs? Don't know. I guess it is a matter of what each person feels they can live with in good conscience. And no one should feel guilty about wanting to have a chance at life too. (Dolly has arthritis now).

Carry on~

  Dear Rayilyn Brown,
I hear what you are saying, does that mean that Dolly the sheep that was a
clone from an egg no sperm not a real sheep. What about the kitten that came
from an egg no sperm was that a real kitten. I saw on TV where and
independent company cloned an mans DNA from an egg and they said if it was
implanted into an woman it would become a child. Just because there is no
sperm involved does not mean there is no life. Janice
