Maxine, I didn't know you weren't supposed to take over the counter cold
meds if you have PD. Where did you read this? I have taken tylenol sinus
and other cold meds. The only real problem I have had is that if i take
anything with an antihistamine in it i can not take it at the same time I
take my sinemet and my requip - makes me REALLY sleepy if i do; like can't
get out of the chair sleepy. But if I take it halfway between my PD med
doses I can function okay. Just taking over the counter sinus meds that
have pseudoephedrine in it doesn't affect me at all. Do the meds you have
looked up have an antihistamine in it; if so, maybe that explains it. Just
food for thought. If you find out anymore on the over the counter stuff and
PD please let me know. I'd hate to be doing something that could have
adverse reactions.
Thanks,
Debra
