This is my first posting to this list. My wife Donna, was diagnosed
about five years ago. Thankfully, her symptoms are still rather mild. She
is on Sinemet CR25/100 and
Mirapex .125, 3x per day each. Her Dr., Enrico Fazzini, has asked her to

participate in a double blind trial for Rasagiline manufactured by Teva,

an Israeli Company. The study is under the auspices of NYU Hospital.
Evidently, there are about ten Institutions around the country involved
in the study. This new drug supposedly smoothes out the "ups and downs",

slows down the progression of Parkinson's and allows a lowering of the
Sinemet dosage. Sounds almost too good to be true. Does anyone know any
more?
