I have a drug question that I hope someone can help with. I have been having a lot of trouble with excess acid in my stomach and my dr wants me to take zantac. I took it 10 years ago successfully. However, three years ago I had an allergic reaction to pepcid. Am I likely to react to zantac? Also, one of my books said that propranolol(which I take) and zantac can't be taken together but the info with the zantac doesn't mention that.I am confused.Help.
