Dear Debra,
A bone scan may be what you need for evaluation but have you seen an
orthopedic doc. They specialize in joints and all that bends. It could be
nothing more than "old age" and have nothing to do with PD. My husband has
lots of stiffness with his PD but doesnt creak but I do. Just loose and
sometimes overstretched tendons with me. I 'm way too active and the old
body just doesnt want to keep up at times. I do take glucosamine and MSM for
my joints. I used to take motrin by the bucket with arthritis but its gone
and so is the arthritis pain with the mineral supplement. It took several
months to get relief with it but it is continual relief.
