I have had balance problems for about 5 years. i used to run about the
house and crash into things. and i would find myself running down the
sidewalk. I skinned my knees many times and it got to where i did not have
any pair of jeans without holes in the knees. Then I got my first cane.
When i first got it I would trip over it. however, i have learned how to
use the cane. It keeps me from falling and I don't crash into things in
the house. I was diagnosed in 1988. I had symptoms for about a year prior
to that. I am 59 Now.
