Subject: strange problem with list - need help

Good Morning:

Sometime last month I lost my subscription to the list. I thought perhaps
I
had been summarily dismissed but rejected that because I had not (at least
lately) done anything to warrant that action. I wrote to Both list owners
asking for information but received no reply. So I rejoined, confirming
thereby that for whatever reason I had no longer been on the list. This
newly
subscribed condition lasted about a week (maybe even less) and again no
messages. I was busy at other things and finally last night I sent a
'test'
message to see if I was still in communication. Although my settings are
such
that I receive copies of my sent messages to the list, no message showed
up,
but neither did a message show up informing me either that my message as
sent
was undeliverable or that I was not a member and therefore could not post
to
the list as was the case last month when my membership evaporated. So this
morning I sent another 'test' message and this time received a message
back
that my message was rejected because I had recently posted a similar one,
the
intimation being that last night's message was accepted and received by
the
LISTSERV and
presumably all of you. But not me. So I don't know if this message is
heading
off to the vast email graveyard where never received messages go or if
everyone is reading this wondering why I'm bothering you with it. The
short
answer is that I need some help either staying on the list or if that
isn't
my problem, then in receiving the list messages. If Barb or John read this
perhaps they can look into it and if this message actually makes the list,
would someone be good enough to respond off-line and tell me so. I won't
see
an on-list response unless and until the problem is fixed. I know it isn't
a
mail problem because I am inundated with Dr Lieberman message.
Thanks to all and sundry for any aid.

Paul H. Lauer
