Hello All, When Dad had PD, we knew he was getting sicker and was looking half of what he used to before PD, but never once did we doubt that he could understand us. Even when Dad could not walk, talk, sit up, move or chew his food, he was always mentally alert. I remember some of our best laughs we had trying to force "healthy" food down him. He could eat a pizza any time but not boring breads. Well even if he couldn't eat it all too well, the enthusiasm shone in his eyes. But I really do want to know whether this inability to comprehend whether the PWP understands you or not, does this happen to a lot of people? Coz Dad always understood everything.
