Hello, Well partially inspired by the post on "How do you tactfully handle this". Anyone noticed that the more serious the illness, the more people and doctors think you are deaf? If you have viral they still talk in a normal tone, But Parkinsons and they start shouting at you. HELLO DEAR whatever, whatever And strangely, they turn around and talk to CG's in terms of how is he/she as if the he/she cant hear themselves being called he/she. People would come home and scream at Dad, then turn around and ask Mamma....how is Mr. Mehra doing now...he doesn't look too good. And all the while Dad would stare at them..... How do you tell people that PD doesn't mean deafness and stupid?
