Have any list members used Accordant Health Services? My HMO recently contracted with them, and i've been besieged with phone calls and mailings from Accordant to register with them - although they state it is not mandatory (for now???) to partcipate . Their literature says they provide " health care management services for people with complex, chronic disease, such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Lou Gehrig's disease and Lupus." A nurse is available by phone 24/7 to answer questions, discuss PD symptoms and management of the disease. I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with Accordant or other companies providing this type of service and whether or not they found it worthwhile?
