I hope with her husband's help the children will be fine. Counseling for
the blaming and fear. I am sure many of us would welcome ur wife here.

My husband took over when I was very ill and my son was in 5th grade.
It can be done. It takes counseling for the whole family, not just one
person. It makes life alot easier. My husband had to do laundry,
grocery shop as usuall anyway, clean up after himself, transport the
children to the library and school, ect. just like before I got
diagnosed with PD. We kept on the cleaning person. We use the pop and
potato chip money for cleaning service:)
I am 43years old and have a young adult/child now. I would be happy to
email with ur wife if she'd like too.
How old are ur little ones?

My husband and I split chores BEFORE we got married grass cutting,
grocery store) me( investments, cars, house repair, laundry/ironing,
sewing,ect.)
I taught the 'boys' how to sew on a my new sewing machine, cars dealing,
ironing, cleaning, investments). I figured my husband let me drive his
corvette when I was 16, and I could let him try my new sewing machine
with supervision of course <grin>. He made sure presents for xmas and
birthdays for our child was bought. Now we do many things as a group
effort.
