Hello All, Sorry about sending a non PD mail. I also suscribe to the CNN newsletter thru email. Todays breaking news consisted of India and Pakistan war possibilities. I am from India and this entire war like situation is painful for all of us. Yet I dont know what to hope for. Once in our class in my Univ, the prof. asked " from when can we trace the beginning of terrorism?" And the entire class screamed " 11th Sept" And we ourselves were shocked by our response. The Indians state of Kashmir has been under terrorist attacks for 15 years now. Imagine if for 15 years washington or NY was under weekly terrorist attacks, to the extent that your kids couldnt even visit NY. My family will laugh if I suggest visiting Kashmir in the holidays. And that perhaps is why India now wants war. The feeling that whatever has to happen should happen once and for all. If we loose fine, otherwise just once and for all reach a decision about Kashmir. We really have had enough. If there are pakistani's on the list then I do apologize for my outburst. I swear I have nothing against Pakis or any other country, just as I am sure Americans had nothing against the innocent Afganis. Its just that most of us in India are now reaching a stage where we cant understand how its justified that US can wage a war against Afganistan after one attack on Sept 11, and India is not allowed to after 15 years of continuous hell.
