Hi! Sherry: Please check out the Parkinson's Club in Huntington Beech, CA. I understand that this was started in 2001 by a Parkinson's Patient from the East. Apparently, they have a very good exercise program that is showing good recovery even on people who had PD for 15 years and are highly disabled and immobile. They also have a herbal medicine that helps PD patients. There was a short program about this institute in the TV yesterday. Don't give up. It is very important that you always should have faith in yourself. I go by the motto which is actualy the title of the book by Dr. Lieberman of NPF in Florida : "SHAKING UP PARKINSONS. FIGHTING LIKE A TIGER AND THINKING LIKE A FOX" Attitude is all that matters. Otherwise life will apear more miserable than it really is. Wish you all the best.
