This past year, I began following Dr. Perlmutter's
suggested use of "Brain Sustain," Coenzyme Q10, & NADH.
However, instead of glutathione by injection, I have been
using SAMe, which some research literature has indicated
may contribute to the formation of dopamine and serotonin
and may help maintain desirable levels of glutathione.

My Dr's are aware of me doing this and do not see it
causing any problems with my prescribed meds for PD. I
think that I can safely say that my Dr's think that Dr.
Perlmutter has an interesting theory. But their atitude
probably is that in my case there is no harm and it's up
to me to decide if there is any benefit.

I do not know how the individual PWP can determine with
certainty whether or not Dr. Perlmutter's theory is
correct. I would like to see more research about it. But
there probably is little profit to be made by corporate
medicine in this area.

However, since the cost to me is affordable, there may be
great benefit, and it's a lot less intrusive than brain
surgery, I'll continue my experiment.

 Subject: IV glutathione

 Hi,
I am new to the mailing list, so I don't know whether
this topic has come up
before or not. I was diagnosed with pd just this year.
I would like to
communicate with anyone who has experience with Dr.
Permutter's regime
including "Brain Sustain" and/or intervenous glutathione.
 Thanks, Sue D.
