Dear Connie
You can do several things to overcome rigidity:

(i) Do not sit continuously in front of your computer for "6-7 hours". After
no more than an hour (use a little digital timer which rings every hour) have
a "movment/deep yoga breathing/slow stretching" break. Move your neck
left/right/up/down/sideways(without turning the face). If you have access
to some stairs then go up and down.

(ii) sip a little hot water or preferably green tea. Smell some perfume. Have
a laugh. Sprinkle some hot and cold water on your hands.

(iii) have a sauna and a Jacuzzi at least once a week.

(iv) if you have a sound card in your machine then use head phones to plug into
some classical music or relaxing sound from a brain-wave generator while
you are working.

All this will improve circulation and blood flow to your brain and you will have no rigidity.
