Call your Senator's Office and urge them to support Parkinson's Research
funding by signing Senator Wellstone's Dear Colleague letters for the
Department of Defense Neurotoxin Exposure Treatment Research Program
(NETRP)
and the NIH Parkinson's Disease Research Agenda
July is a critical time in Washington D.C. and we need your help NOW to
ensure that Congress adequately funds Parkinson's research. Lawmakers in
the Senate have already begun drafting the appropriations bills, which
contain Parkinson's research funding, and are expected to be voted on
very
soon.
As you know, it is critical for advocates- in particular constituents-
to
call their Senators NOW and urge them to sign:
1. The Senator Wellstone Dear Colleague letter supporting the
Department of Defense's NETRP program
2. The Senator Wellstone Dear Colleague letter supporting the
NIH's Parkinson's Disease Research Agenda.
