I have a suggestion, how about ignoring this one instead of getting upset
about it. If Janet is "not amused" as Queen Victoria is supposed to have
said, why is she checking out SPARKLE anyway. She should remember that
Bonnie and Hans started this list because there were complaints about posting
humor on the Parkinson's list. I'm a caregiver, not a PWP, but I can tell
you that I really appreciate SPARKLE, and so do the friends I share with.
:-))) So why don't we just leave Janet to her own humorless opinion while we
keep on enjoying SPARKLE and each other, and maybe she'll go away. Why does
she care anyway? I know that anything that will get my Mom to laugh is a
wonderful thing. These days she doesn't even talk very much. Her
great-granddaughter (age 6) told her Good Morning the other day and when Mom
said it back, Sarah hollered, "She spoke." Sarah's here with us every day
and it really thrilled her that her Ahma spoke to her. So, anything that
will bring a smile or laugh to a PWP or a caregiver is a very good thing.
Now do you get it, Janet? If not, well.............:-(
