Dopamine is used in emergency situations in ERs, ICUs and in cardiac resuscitation where the blood pressure plummets - it is not the same preparation as the Sinemet PD folks are used to taking. As many PWP know, Sinemet (levodopa/carbidopa) sometimes causes the blood pressure to drop.
