Eileen I am not on meds yet either and one of my issues is cramping in my
foot during exercise, Sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesnt cramp.
I think mine maybe a diet or hydration thing -- i dont know. But it may be
the sympathetic(?) nervous system, which is effected in PDers. Perhaps you
are more concerned about falling or how you look when others are around and
this impacts how you step. Ive noticed that I dont handle stress as well
i.e. i get up tight and sweat more easily now and my reasoning suffers
during these periods. Ie PD is affecting more than my motor skills, it
impacts my perception of things, my thinking speed, my fight or flight
response, my balance, etc. etc. Remember, PD afffects everyone differently.
Someetimes, in my detached moments, it is even interesting what is going on,
BUT I still dont like it.
