Charley, I came across this problem a number of years ago when my daughter was severely injured in a serious accident. When the time came for her to drive again, it was recommended that she be taken to a legit driving school and certified, We had no problems. It occurs to me that before your undertake recetification, I submit you contact your Motor Vehicle Dept., to doublecheck their requiremenets.
