When the time comes that YOU feel comfortable about it, my
advice is to educate, educate, educate. It is remarkably
liberating and you will probably find that you haven't
fooled anybody, and that your colleagues assumed you were
drinking, or using drugs. Parkinson's is a complex disease,
and I found that most people are incredibly ignorant about
it, and MY co-worker's are doctors, nurses, and psychiatric
social workers with Master's degrees. I even had a Director
of Nursing ask me, after I explained twice why couldn't
work swing shifts because of my medication schedule, the
blood-brain barrier, dopamine levels, etc. etc. ad nauseum,
"But how long do you need before that is corrected?" Poor
woman, she was amazed when I told her, never, or until they
find The Cure.

P.S. You may even bore them so much, they will stop asking
questions, PD being so much less entertaining than a
substance-abuse problem.
