Bill I have not looked for a job since dx, but I know that job hunting is not easy for anyone at anytime. Three weeks is not a long time to be searching. Rejection is the name of the game,unfortuneately. I have attended job search seminars put on by the big placement firms and found them full of good hints. Plus you get in class feedback on your resume, interview techniques, cover letters etc. Do not pay anyone to find a job for you, but, if you can afford it, the seminars are quite helpful. Also, "What Color is your Parachute" has a website I think that offers plenty of tips. And so do plenty of other sites, probably. There are some newspaper columns on the topic also--i think the Chicago Tribune has one. Anyways, there is no shortage of help out there for job hunting. My 2 cents on the PD question--dont mention it. Job hunting is a staged process and the goal at each stage is to get to the next stage. I.e your "job" is to get interviews now; once you get them, show up, be professional, and sell your skills. I dont think they can ask about your condition, legally, but remember, you cant force anyone to hire you using discrimination as a club either.
