My wife and i are thinking and planning ahead regarding the possibility of
long-term care in the event that I need to be "taken care of." My question
to all of you is this: we have heard horror stories about how these nursing
facilities can quickly drain your life savings--how does a person go about
protecting those "nest eggs" from being snatched away? Is it possible for a
Parkie to get long-term care insurance? Any suggestions/words-of-wisdom
would be greatly appreciated.
