While the above definition may be acceptable, "festination" when
related to the subject of Parkinson's disease is a *medical tgerm*.
It describes a typical shuffling, rapid, accelerating gait seen in PD
and is also described by the French, "Marche a petit pieds/pas",
meaning "walking with little feet".
